New OBD protocol for Continental SID208 ECUs with Alientech KESS3 and Powergate.
The ECUs fitted to Citroën, Fiat and Peugeot light commercial vehicles with 2.2 HDi and 2.2 Multijet diesel engines can now be managed directly through the diagnostic port.
Thanks to this update, you can work on Continental SID208 ECUs via OBD using KESS3 and Powergate—connecting directly to the vehicle’s diagnostic port to read and write the engine control unit. This new protocol complements the existing BENCH mode, expanding your tuning capabilities for light diesel commercial vehicles such as the Ducato, Boxer, Jumper, and Relay (2011 onwards).
Work on the widely used 2.2 HDi and 2.2 Mjet diesel engines with several advantages for your daily operations:
- Direct connection via the diagnostic port BENCH mode already available ECU reading and writing.
- Support via KESS3 and Powergate
- New opportunities for Citroën, Fiat, and Peugeot commercial vehicles
- Coverage of diesel applications popular in various international markets.
- Reading and writing via OBD.
- Direct and immediate ECU management.
- OBD or BENCH flexibility according to the vehicle and operation.
- Support also available with Powergate for remote work on the customer’s vehicle.
- More opportunities on Ducato, Boxer, Jumper and Relay applications from 2011 onwards.
This new support streamlines work on Continental SID208 ECUs, expanding coverage to include some of the most common diesel commercial vehicles on the road globally.
