Problem:
Foxflash read Mercedes Benz Delphi CRD2 ECU via OBD ok (100% without problem), Wanted to write. Get ID – load file. Click write. And didn’t even started. Got this message, and now ecu is in brick. Car can’t start. What to do to wake up ecu?
Solution:
CRD2 is tricky, especially for entry-level tools. Similar issue also happens with other flash tools.
1.Recover ECU with KESS V2/KESS3.
Kess recovery obd works
Inject your original file with KESS in recovery mode and your car will restart.
2. Recovery by vediamo.
In case kess cannot do recovery you will need to update via vediamo. Recovery by vediamo and back to life.
After that, bench is more safe on this ecus.
3. Read ECU in boot mode
If you can still read boot mode C boot is still fine, had a similiar sitaution with kess3 failure I flashed with similar ecu data then once ecu booted fully i put original back.
