Q: Can i clone the VAG MED17.5 ECU 1:1? I have read the same ECU with Xhorse Multi Prog.
Here is the clue.
Not possible to 1:1 read and write to clone this ECU. Because there is OTP.
To clone this ECU, you will need to transfer immo data from original to donor ECU.
Read old and new ecu send to tunner for modification (transfer data) and write back to new ecu.
Or do IMMO Off and adapte with ODIS. Connect ODIS and perform an immobilizer data adaptation and coding, and it works.
